Vivienne Holden :: Happy Birthday Bear

Hi and welcome to my project!
It's Viv here from Crafting Haven to share a card with you today.
This is nothing like what I'd originally planned...but then, none of my cards usually are! lol

I LOVE me those cute bears!!!

This is a tent card using quite a few Peachy Keen Stamps.
I created a background with white card and added the sun on dimensionals.
The tree and the daisies are stamped straight onto the white card.
I added 'clouds' by masking the tree and the flowers and sponging over a die cut cloud.
The cute teddy is peeking from behind the die cut circle.
I adhered a piece of card to the back of the head and attached it to the back of the card.
All colouring is done with Copics.
Stamps used...

I have photos of each stage on my blog. (I would love you to visit).

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project.
I hope you enjoyed it.

Cyndy Garcia :: Funny Valentine Treat Tube

Hello Peachy Friends!

This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps again! Today is a bittersweet day for me because it's my very last day as a Peachy Keen Guest Designer. I've had so much fun! The Peachy team gave me a warm welcome! Thank you everybody!

For my last project I decided to alter a candy holder. I was waiting in line to pay at Michael's and then I spotted this candy tube. I knew right away it needed some peachy goodness!
The faces on the three hearts (from top to bottom) are from the Happy New Year assortment, Funshine Face assortment, and Happy Lashes assortment.
The sentiment is from the Frankly... stamp set.
The darling girl is from the Vivienne and Friends stamp set. Isn't she adorable?!

I think I would have had to add over a hundred hearts to use all the faces I wanted to include!

If you'd like more details about my project or just to say hi, feel free to visit me here!

See you all in blog world :-)

Amy Crockett ::

Hello fruity friends!!  This is Amy from Scrapping Mommy and I have a set of four mini cards to share with you today that are super fruity.  I love having some mini cards around to give with a quick gift or thank you.  I used the newest Fruit Sentiments One.

Each card measures 3 x 3 and I used my Cricut machine to cut out the background frame.  The fruit are all stamped from the Faceless Fruit stamps and added some faces with The Cornies Assortment.  I colored the images with my Copic markers and then added some white pen details to the fruit as well as stitching around the edges with a white Gelly Roll pen.  To finish off the cards, I added some bakers twine from The Twinery.

I hope that these little cuties have cheered you up today!!

Hugs,
Amy

Emily Kluender :: Panda Love

Hello Peachy friends and happy Friday!! Emily here and I'm so excited to share my first project on the Peachy Keen Blog!! I created this cute little Valentine's Day To Go Box with yummy felt fortune cookie treats inside. It even has cute chopsticks as well!

I stamped and paper pieced the panda bear from PK-159 Thinking of You Bear. Then, I added hearts around the eyes. They were cut around 3/4 of an inch using the Cricut with Cricut Craft Room Basic Shapes. Lastly, I stamped on the word LOVE from the PKSC-13 January 2013 onto the heart.

The lanterns were stamped and paper pieced from the PKSC-05 May 2012. They were then embossed with a Cuttlebug Oriental Weave folder. I cut out the small hearts, glued them on, and tied the lanterns together with twine. They were adhered to the handle using mini-glue dots.

The sentiment from PKSC-13 January 2013 was stamped on the banner using Red Pigment Ink. The button and ribbon were from my personal stash. The chopsticks embellishment was stamped and paper pieced from PKSC-01 January 2012. I then colored in the flowers using my Copic markers. I finished by adding a small face from PK-112 Cherub faces assortment.

The Hershey kiss bottoms were cut slightly less than an inch and stamped with the heart, lips, and s.w.a.k. from PKSC-13 January 2013. The fortunes were stamped and then cut out from PKSC-01 & 13 January 2012/2013 as well. In each felt fortune cookie I placed two Hershey kisses and a Peachy Keen Valentine's Day sentiment.

If you would like to learn how to make these cute felt fortune cookies or would like more details on my projects please visit my blog.

Hope you have a great weekend and happy creating!

Good morning everyone! This is Sandra from 365 Days of Cricut and today is my day to post on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog .  For my project I thought I'd use up my Peachy Keen Stamps in a totally different way by...... making my Week 2 Project Life pages! I was able to use 9 different Peachy Keen Stamps YES 9! So Awesome!!!

Here is both of my pages when you first open it up.  I cut a 6x12 insert down to 8x6 to fit my Jamba Juice Menu and movie ticket stubs. The font I used is from the Something To Celebrate Cricut cart. I also printed out the movie poster from The Hobbit movie.
This is the same page but with the middle Jamba Juice page turned.

Here's a close up of my son Aidan enjoying is smoothie from our favorite place Jamba Juice! I used 3 different PKS sentiments here... "Love You!!", "You look delicious" and "Feelin' Fruity?" and I also used 4 different faces from the Piles Of Smiles Faces. I cut all of the fruit from the Preserves Cricut Cartridge which goes perfectly with the new release stamps that I used in my project!

Here's another PKS sentiment I used "Miss you...." I took a picture of my hubby at the airport checking in for deployment while he wasn't looking, I also got a copy of his itinerary and wrote a message underneath it.

The last PKS sentiment I used was "cute!" which I stamped 3 times in a row because this picture of my kids and dog is just cute, cute, cute!!! Love them!

Here's a list of the Peachy Keen Stamps I used to create my Project Life Pages:

I hope I inspired you to use your Peachy Keen Stamps in a different way thank you for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!

Cyndy Garcia :: Bear Fever

JUST A NOTE:  We have enabled word verification AND comment moderation on our blog to try and reduce the number of spam attempts we are receiving.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause , and with any luck we can disable it soon.  :-)

Hello Peachy Friends!

This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps and I'm back with bear fever! I made two similar cards simply because I could not decide which products to use, I love all the peachy faces!

The sweet sentiment is from Peachy Keen's Cupid's Sting stamp set.
The face on this bear is from Critter Faces Set A Large. This set actually has many faces that look great with the bears from the Teddy Bear cartridge.
The face on this bear is my absolute favorite bear face! It's from an oldie, but goodie assortment, Rag Doll and Teddy Bear Face Assortment. Unfortunately this set is retired so if you have it, pull it out and use it!
The background is stamped as well. I heat embossed the X's and O's background stamp and stamped it with UTEE. This picture shows the background stamped a bit better.

If you have bear fever like me, make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen store and check out the brand new Teddy Bear Assortment HERE and this week's Peachy challenge HERE

If you'd like more details about my project, please stop by here

Have a fun, crafty day!

Sandy Hulsart :: Valentine Sweetness

Hello, Peachy Keen fans, Sandy here with you today; my first solo post!  The new year is cruising along and it is time to start thinking about Valentines.  My first card uses the new January Release set.  I stamped the candies onto Cryogen metallic text weight paper and then colored the entire thing with my black Copic marker.  I carefully trimmed each candy out and then using an embossing tool, dry embossed the wrappers so they bow up around the candies.  I stamped the candies again onto Cryogen metallic card stock and trimmed just the candy portion out.  I colored them and then added Glossy Accents to give them a yummy shine.

I added this fun saying which is also part of the new January Release.  I used card stock from K&Company, the heart embellishment is Cheery Lynn Designs.  Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

For my next card, I have used this adorable stamp set called Valentine Cupids.  Isn't he a happy little guy!  I stamped him onto Cryogen metallic paper and then added the hearts around him.
Copics used:
Mouse - E41, E42, E43, R20, R21
Bow - E33
Hearts - R32, R35, R39
Wings - Clear Gelly Roll
I combined two of the sayings along with the arrow to create my sentiment.

The paper is from the Bo Bunny Love Letters Collection; the flourish and flowers are from Cheery Lynn Designs.  Finished size is 5.5" square.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out this week's 3D Bears challenge.

Nikki Foraker :: Have A Peach Of A Day!

Hiya Peachies! :) Nikki here with 2 cards today. For this first one I stamped the cutie peach from the Faceless Fruit set. I stamped it a few times on different patterned papers so I could paper piece it. The face is from the August 2012 set. I used my sakura stardust glitter pen to add sparkle the the glasses. You can see the sparkle here...
The greeting is from the fabulous new Fruits Sentiments One set. I stamped it and white heat embossed it. And here is the other card I made...
I cut out the adorable Tear Bear die. Then I gave teddy the cutest sad face ever from the new set called Teddy Bear Assortment. I stamped and paper pieced the kleenex box from the Bawlin Bunnies set.
The greeting is from the new Get Well Bear set.  I also white heat embossed it.

I hope your weekend is just PEACHY! :)

Cassandra Cauble :: "Love"ly Flowers

Hello everyone!  This is Cassandra from CREATING with COLOR by CASSANDRA.  I'm so excited to be with you all today for my very first post in Peachy-land!!  Since it's the beginning of a new year, I usually try to make some Happy Birthday cards to have on hand in case I need one in a pinch.  Here is one using the PKSC-13 January 2013 Kit of the Month:

I don't know about you all, but sometimes I like to look at stamps and see how I can use them in different ways.  For this fun little card, I took the Love Lollipop stamp and cut off the sticks - leaving the leftover hearts to use as 'flower petals'.

Here is a closer look.  I used 3 different colors of ink for the petals.  Then I curled up the edges and adhered them together with pop dots.  (I just love dimension.  It completely changes the look and feel of every project).  In the center, I added a brad from my stash.

For the stem, I used a black pipe cleaner.  I added some pretty polka dot ribbon for the leaves.  And if you look closely under the ribbon, you can see that I stamped the little swirlies for even more leaf definition.

The "Happy Birthday!" sentiment in this kit has the cutest font!  Don't you just love it??  In this picture, you can also see that I added some stitching around the border of the card with a white ~ Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

For a cute little touch, I added these fun bee stickers.  Then, I used a black ~ Zig Writer pen to show the bees in 'motion' (this is another great technique to really bring your card to life).

Well that's it for me today.  I hope I have inspired you to make some Birthday Cards of your own to have on hand for the New Year.  Have a great day everyone!

This little duck is my all time favorite Peachy Keen character.  He's from the Duck and Egg Die! I didn't dress him up, but you could if you wanted to, click HERE to see the accessories! The Duck and Egg Die set comes with FOUR Peachy Keen faces and they all interchange beautifully.
The sentiment is from the Duck Dolls stamp set. The Duck Dolls stamp set and Duck and Egg Die go hand in hand!

Janice Wilson :: Adding Color to Paper Pieced Bears

Hi everyone!  Janice here with my first post as a returning PK alumni designer.  I am so HAPPY to be back, I can't even tell you!  I just wanted to share some tips with you about adding color to your paper pieced images.  I have a very short video if you would like to watch.
It just shows a comparison of a paper pieced bear with and without added color.  Even if you are not comfortable adding color you should at least flick the edges with distress ink.  Even that small step can really make a difference.  I used the new bear stamp from the January Stamp of the Month Club, PKSC-13.
Here is my completed card.  Notice that I added a pattern to the floor to create more dimension.
I made the bed by cutting 2white posts about 1/2 inch wide, one shorter than the other and punching (2) 1/2 inch circles.  The mattress was was cut from patterned paper as well as the pillow.  The pillow is approximately 1/2 inch by 1and 1/2 inch with 2 of the corners rounded.  The bed skirt is a piece of elasticized yellow gingham ribbon.

The bedroom wall decor was made using PK-158 Get Well Bear.  The image was stamped onto shrink plastic, colored with Prismacolor pencils, cut out, and heated with a heat gun to shrink it.  I drew the blanket for the sleepy bear and added some shadows on the wall from the bed to create depth.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Amber Kroening :: ConQUACKulations!!

Good morning!

Amber here, from Bella Rose Cards.

I've got a fun and simple card to share with you today.  I have been having so much fun coloring my Peachy Keen images!  For this card I used the PK-266 Duck Dolls stamp set.

When I first started stamping in 2008, 90% of my cards had colored images on them.  I kind of got away from that, and haven't been coloring much at all.  I am so excited to be coloring again because I really enjoy it, and how could I not when I have such adorable images to work with!?

I thought this card would make a cute baby congrats card.  First I embossed my card base with an embossing folder.  To create the grass I cut a strip of green patterned paper and then used my scissors to cut  "fringe."  This is a super easy way to create grass.  Then I cut , color, and adhered my adorable images and sentiment.  Finished it all off with a pink satin bow to match the ducks' bow.  =)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Happy stamping!

Gigi McKellips :: Snow Me A Man

Hello my Peachy Friends! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug sharing a card with you today.
I used the PK-153 Snow Me A MAN stamp set to create this card. I just LOVE this cute snowman and the sentiment is so sweet too.

I added some twine for the mitten pulls and stickles to the heart.

I stamped this cutie and paper pieced the scarf, hat, and mittens. I did a little inking around the edges to give him a shadow and colored the eyes and nose with Copic markers. Before I mounted him on pop dots, I added some twine and wound it around for the mitten pulls. I stamped the sentiment banner and added that to the bottom. To finish I added a simple ribbon and bow.
I hope you enjoyed my peachy post and have a wonderful day!

Cyndy's Bio

I'm married to a wonderful and supporting husband, I work from home, and am a paper addict! I started paper crafting in 2007, just making layouts once in a while. In 2010, I discovered the Cricut and soon after I discovered Peachy Keen Stamps. I was hooked, to say the least! I love stamping and incorporating them into my paper crafts from cards, scrapbooking, word books, explosion boxes, to altered items, home decor, etc. I look for inspiration anywhere and everywhere and hopefully I manage to inspire you. =)

Hello Peachy friends!

This is Cyndy from Arcy Scraps and I am over the moon with excitement to be a guest designer this month for Peachy Keen Stamps

Today I'm showing you a very fast and easy way to package a box of chocolate for your sweetie, perhaps for Valentine's Day ;)
First, I paper pieced the bear from the newly released Thinking of You Bear stamp set. Isn't it adorable?!

I cut the stamped heart twice and added foam tape to give it more of a 3D look. I added foam tape underneath the bear as well. Lastly I added the bear on three layers of cardstock.

You can find this stamp set along with the entire new release HERE

If you'd like more details about my project, please stop by here

Have a fun, crafty day!

Saundra Rega :: I Wub You!

Hi there, Peachies! Happy New Year to you all!
Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together. I am excited to be with you all for another fabulous Peachy Keen year!
I am sure you have seen the chalkboard cards that are circling the web. Well, I just had to try one!

My cardstock has a little sheen to it so getting a picture was a little difficult.

To create this card, I used the brand new released January 2013 Stamp of the Month. I started with this cutie patootie teddy bear and then randomly chose several stamps to stamp around the image. Pigment ink seemed to work best with this and I really liked the way it turned out. I started with white pigment ink and then used some pink pigment ink for some added color.

For a little more detail, I colored in the little bears ears and heart with a colored pencil.

These new stamps are available for purchase in the Peachy Keen Store now!
Check them out!

Thank you for stopping.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!
