Peachy Keen Guest Designer Week 17, Day 3

WOW.. the time is just flying by... today I have a fun, simple project for you..

First I started off by making 3 lolly pop flowers and distressed them.. I added random pieces of patterned paper in the back for some visual texture, and a scallop border. I used a white gel pen to add some faux stitching and distressed the edges..

Did you know that Peachy Keen Stamps doesn't just sell stamps.. :) they sell punches, glitter, they have new dies out right now.. YEP it's true.. so I used one of the many punches they carry it's called the Photo Label Punch, I stamped only the word Happy Birthday from the Pocket Posies set onto it and punched it out.. I am in love with this punch. I can see so many uses for it..

Love the card! The faux stitching is a cool twist (I thought it was actual stitching until I read the description) and I am a huge fan of distressed edges! =]
