Guest Designer- The Greene Family & Crafts Day 5!

This is Jamie from The Greene Family & Crafts for my final post.  I have had so much fun Guest Designing this week!  I want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart Peachy Keen Stamps for allowing me this opportunity!

A new LFIF challenge starts today and the challenge is to create a project that just might give us the creepy crawlies in the cutest Peachiest way possible!  So for my project I made a set of bookmarks using the PK-695 The Uglies 1 1/8" face stamps.

I die cut 3 bookmarks and then stamped the different face stamps from the set along with a sentiment for the middle bookmark.  I colored them and inked the edges of the bookmarks.  For the middle one I had some fun with my spray inks!  To finish them off I added some twine to the top.

I encourage you to play along with the challenge this week and don't forget to leave a comment here for a chance to win the Cottage Cutz Pumpkin Trio giveaway!  I will pick the winner tomorrow.

Guest Designer- The Greene Family & Crafts Day 4!

Hello!  This is Jamie with The Greene Family & Crafts back to share a fun Holiday card with you today.

I made today's card using PK-320 Snickerdoodle Gift Elf.  Isn't he the cutest!  I colored him with copic markers, inked the edges of the cardstock, added some pattern paper, a sentiment, tied a bow and then adheared him to my card base.  This was a fun and easy card to make the coloring took a little while but I love to color:)

I will be back tomorrow for my last day as a Guest Designer.  This has been so much fun!  Make sure that you leave a comment every day this week for a chance to win the Cottage Cutz Pumpkin Trio giveaway Peachy Keen has generously allowed me to offer.

Guest Designer- The Greene Family & Crafts Day 3

Hello!  I am Jamie From The Greene Family & Crafts back to share another project with you today.  Thanksgiving is less than a Month away, can you believe that?  The year seems to have blown by!  I thought that this year I would make my own Place cards for my Holiday dinner table.

I took a piece of cardstock that measured 4 1/4" x 5", I scored and folded it in half.  I ran it through my Cuttlebug and die cut the bottom with an edger die.  I then used the Cottage Cutz pumpkin trio to die cut a couple pumpkins and stem.  I took one of pumpkins and cut out just the center to layer on my main pumpkin for some added dimension.  Then I used some alpha stickers for the name.  I love how it turned out and now I have a quick and easy Place card!

I will be back tomorrow with a holiday card to share with you.  Make sure that you leave a comment for your chance to win your own Cottage Cutz Pumpkin Trio that Peachy Keen has allowed me to offer as a giveaway this week!

Hello again!  This is Jamie with The Greene Family and Crafts and I am back today with a fun Halloween card.

Peachy Keen has allowed me to pick a giveaway for this week so don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win the Cottage Cutz Pumpkin trio!

Thanks for joining me today and I will be back tomorrow with a another idea for using the Cottage Cutz Pumpkin Trio.

Guest Designer- The Greene Family & Crafts Day 1

Hello Everyone!  My name is Jamie from The Greene Family & Crafts and I am your Guest Designer for the week.  I am so excited, this is my first time Guest Designing and I really hope you enjoy the projects that I have made to share with you this week.

For today I have made a really simple goodie bag.  I am a stay at home mother to 3 amazing kids and so I enjoy making little things for my kids.

I took a plain brown lunch bag and covered the front of it with pattern paper.  I found an older Making Memories sentiment to use along the side of the goodie bag.  I cut the adorable paper doll with my Cricut.  Now here comes the fun part.  I wanted to dress the doll for Halloween so I used the Cottage Cutz Pumpkin trio die for her outfit!  I die cut the same pumpkin twice so that I could layer the middle and add some dimension.  I used one of the other pumpkins to cut the top off  and use for a hat.  I stamped her face using the Wide eyed kids face assortment stamps.  To finish it off I tied a bow around the top and added a Hinge clip from Tim Holtz.

I hope you enjoyed today's project!  I want to say a HUGE Thank you to Peachy Keen for allowing me this opportunity to be a Guest Designer for this week!  As you know each Guest Designer is given the opportunity to do a giveaway and I have chosen the Cottage Cutz Pumpkin Trio as my giveaway this week!

To be entered all you have to do is leave a comment Here or on my Blog.  I will see you tomorrow with another Halloween idea!

Guest Designer - Houses Built of Cards - Day 5

Wow! What a fun week it has been! This is Heather from Houses Built of Cards with my 5th, and final post for the week. I have had so much fun! I'm still going to be busy...yesterday was my 1 year blogiversary, and the celebration is tomorrow! I have a short blog hop planned, several great giveaways (including some more Peachy Keen Stamps!), and a very special introduction for you. Would love it if you stopped by for the fun!

So for my last post, I decided to use 2 more of my favorite sets of face stamps: Princess Face Assortment and Wide Eyed and Bush Tailed Assortment. I used a cut from Meow Lite Cricut cartridge. Doesn't that little cat make you want to laugh?!?!?

Kind of reminds me of my daughter carrying around our cat...he really loves to be petted and loved, but he HATES to get carried by anyone! So he always looks a little annoyed at the inconvenience! Here you can see how I pop-dotted the image from the background.

Added lots of inking and doodling with my white gel pen, and a sentiment from My Creative Time stamps. Also used a Fiskars edge punch along the side of the background paper to make it look like a notebook page.

And tomorrow morning I will be drawing the lucky winner of the prize Peachy Keen allowed me to select to giveaway - a $25.00 gift certificate!!! So make sure and leave a comment here and on the my blog - Houses Built of Cards for a chance to win!!! I also have a few bonus past projects posted on my blog using these same sets!

Guest Designer - Houses Built of Cards - Day 4

Good morning! So hard to believe that the week as guest designer is almost over! Been having so much fun with my Peachy Keen stamps! Thanks to everyone for the sweet comments here and on my blog, Houses Built of Cards - I have enjoyed reading each and every one of them!

For today's post, I played with my newest set of face stamps, In Stitches Face Assortment. (Hint: I also have a bonus project at the bottom of my blog using this same set!) I think these are so fun and different from any of the other faces - they have such a homespun look, that I just HAD to use lots of kraft paper!
I used a cut off of my cricut cartridge, Give a Hoot. I hid some of the layers on my Gypsy, and inked the edges of each piece with Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap.

I also pop-dotted several of the layers, as this picture shows a little better. The background is also pop-dotted, as well as run through my Cuttlebug.

I used my white gel pen to do lots of faux stitching, and added a sentiment from My Creative Time stamps.

Here is the set that I used for today:

And, just a reminder, Peachy Keen has allowed me to select a prize to give away, and what could be better than your own spending money?!?!? So...leave a comment here, and on my blog, Houses Built of Cards, for two chances to win a $25 gift certificate!!!

Thanks for stopping by! I will see you back here tomorrow - one last time!

Guest Designer - Houses Built of Cards - Day 3

Hi there! Heather from Houses Built of Cards here again! So hard to believe that the week is half over!!! Time is flying by so fast, but what fun it has been! Today is Day 3 of my week guest designing for Peachy Keen - and I have been loving every second of it!

Today, I decided first of all to challenge myself with a boy project - I have 2 darling girls that I adore, age 8 and 7, so doing the princess thing is easy! Boys, that is another story! So I pulled out what I think is my all time FAVORITE Peachy Keen face assortment (Wide Eyed Kid Faces) and my Cricut Boys Will be Boys cartridge. If you don't have this set of faces, I would highly suggest it! I think I have used it more than any other set. (And...Peachy Keen is having a great sale too...just in case you wanted to know!)

Anyway, here is my project for today:

I cut this cute little guy out, added some inking with some Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Linen and lots of faux stitching. Then...I couldn't resist putting him on an Action Wobble! (If any of you are wondering, Peachy Keen usually has these in stock. However, from looking at the Action Wobble Facebook page, it looks like they are having a production snag that they are trying to work out on their end, and then they will be shipping them to retailers - hopefully in time for the holidays. So...hopefully Peachy Keen will soon have them back in stock - or someone else will have them if not!) Anyway, these next couple of pictures show the action a little bit for you to see:

Isn't that FUN?!?!?! I love using Action Wobbles on projects, and definately plan on stocking up when they are back in supply again! Finished this one off with some Baker's Twine, a sentiment from My Creative Time stamps, and a bit of doodling around the edges of the card.

Here is the face set that I used on my project today:

And...just a reminder of the giveaway this week!!! Peachy Keen allowed me to select a giveaway for the week! So on Saturday morning I will be picking a lucky commenter from either here or my BLOG via Random.org and giving away a $25 Gift Certificate!!! If I had picked a set to give away, it probably would have been the set I used today - but if you already have this set, or your heart is set on something else, you can pick whatever YOU would like!!!

Thanks for taking a peek today! Feel free to pop over to my BLOG and leave a comment for a second chance to win! I also have some bonus past projects using this same face set posted on my blog. See you tomorrow!

Guest Designer - Houses Built of Cards - Day 2

Good morning! Welcome back for my second post for Peachy Keen Stamps. You can find my blog at Houses Built of Cards if you want to leave a comment there for an extra chance to win this weeks prize, plus I have a couple of bonus projects hiding out over there if you're interested!

Today is the brand new sketch challenge - so I got to make something for that this week! It was such a fabulous sketch - and so easy to work with! This is something new from Peachy Keen that I branched out with to try this week - some of their image stamps! I had pretty much only used their face stamps before, but decided to give these a try - and I'm SOOO glad I did! I absolutely LOVE how great this was for some paper piecing, and working on my rather rough abilities with my copics. Here is my card:

And here is the sketch for the week:

This is the stamp set that I used for this card:

I was so pleasantly surprised by the SIZE of this stamp! This card is a 6x6 card - so you can tell that this is a very good size stamp! Anyway, I paper pieced the dress, hat, and balloon, then used copics to color the rest, with a bit of white gel pen for highlights here and there. The sentiment is also part of this set.

The edges of everything are inked with Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Linen - I love how it blends so great with white paper! Papers are all from My Minds Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky 6x6 paper pad. Added some Jute Cord and a button to finish it off.

And of course, remember to leave a comment every day this week for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps!!! Pop on over to my blog to leave a comment for another chance, and to see a couple of bonus projects!!!

Guest Designer - Houses Built of Cards - Day 1

**For the PKS/Country Bumpkin Blog Hop**
**please click HERE**
Good morning! My name is Heather, and my blog is called Houses Built of Cards. It is kind of a strange name, but there is a story behind it! You can click HERE and read my first post if you want to find out how it all started. You will notice that this week will be 1 year since I started my blog! Amazing how time flies! Feel free to pop in and visit me on my blog this week, as I will be picking one lucky winner of a prize provided by Peachy Keen stamps from comments made in both places this week! (More on that at the end of this post!)

I'm so excited this week to get to share with you my love of Peachy Keen stamps. They have so many fun things to offer, and I used some things newer to me that I will be sharing with you this week, but my first love is definately their face stamps! It is amazing how much fun and character you can add to a project with them! So this week I thought I would share with you some of my favorite sets. I started today with the Laffy Taffy Face Assortment.

I used my Cricut and the Birthday Bash cartridge to cut out the candles, and after doing a bit of inking, added the faces. I use an eye make-up applicator and a pink stamp pad to add the "blush" on the cheeks, a white gel pen to color in the mouth and eyes, and a red copic for the lips. I ran the white behind the candles through my Cuttlebug, then pop-dotted the candles, as well as the sentiment from the background. This picture shows the dimension a little bit better:

All the pattern papers are from the Echo Park Happy Days 6x6 paper pad - my favorite for cardmaking. I used some Tim Holtz distress ink on the edges of everything - my new favorite for inking! The sentiment is from Emma over at My Creative Time - her stamps are also manufactured by Peachy Keen! Finished off with some Baker's Twine behind the sentiment.

Here is the set I used for my card today:

And...of course what you have been waiting for!

Peachy Keen has been kind enough to allow me to select something to giveaway this week to a lucky commenter!!! So...I thought I would let the winner choose what they would like! So, one lucky person this week will win a $25 gift certificate so you can shop for whatever you would like!!!

Remember - click HERE to visit my blog and leave a comment there for another chance to win!!! See you back here tomorrow for more Peachy goodness!!!

Guest Designer Kristin-Lilsweetpea's Place-Day 5

Hey Guys!
Well it's here... my final day as your Guest Designer.
Thank you all for making this week so much fun for me and thank you to Peachy Keen for this opportunity! Your comments are so super sweet... if you'd like to keep in touch and see what I'll be up to for this holiday season you can always stop by my blog Lilsweetpea's Place. I'd love to have you pop in anytime.

Today I got to play along in the Let's Face It Friday Challenge over on the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog. How cool is that? The challenge this Friday is "Swirls of wind remind us of flourishes and whimsy! Make a project that whips up our imagination!!"

Guidelines for the challenge are:
Your design must be new
Your project must include PKS Faces
Link up by 10/27 by 11:59 PM

This is the project that I came up with. What better way to represent wind than a tree? These Peachy Keen stamps sure do make it whimsical don't you think? This tree branch came from my yard. I spray painted it black. While it was drying I got to work on coloring all of the stamps and making the scallops for them all. A couple of cob webs later... and it's all done!

Many of you know that each Guest Designer is allowed to give-a-way free Peachy Keen product during their week in the spotlight. The sets that I will be giving away to one lucky winner are:

PK-647 Faceless Fall Fun
PK-550 Pumpkin Faces

All you have to do to be entered into the drawing is leave a comment on EACH of my projects all week long here on the Peachy Keen Blog. A visit to my blog would be nice Lilsweetpea's Place but it's not a have to. I will be selecting and announcing a winner tomorrow 10/15.

Thanks again guys! It's been a blast!!
Hope to see you all around blog land!

Guest Designer Kristin-Lilsweetpea's Place-Day 4

Hello guys!
Kristin here from Lilsweetpea's Place. Welcome to day 4 of my Peachy Week as your Guest Designer. It has been so fun sharing with you all of my favorite Halloween crafting ideas. It just goes to show you how versatile these Peachy Keen stamps are.

These are called "Creepy Crackers" and they are filled with candy. Simply break the end off to get to the goodies. Guess what the role is from?  It's a toilet paper role covered with tissue paper and then patterned paper in the center. Just tape one end of the role, fill with candy, tape the other end, and begin rolling in tissue paper. End with some bows and darling Peachy Keen stamps and you've got yourself a Creepy Cracker!

This orange one is my favorite.
The best part is it's so simple but yet they come out so darn cute!

Many of you know that each Guest Designer is allowed to give-a-way free Peachy Keen product during their week in the spotlight. The sets that I will be giving away to one lucky winner are:

PK-647 Faceless Fall Fun
PK-550 Pumpkin Faces

These sets are chalk full of cute stamps just waiting for your creativity. One lucky person is going to be getting some serious Happy Mail!! All you have to do to be entered into the drawing is leave a comment on EACH of my projects all week long here on the Peachy Keen Blog. A visit to my blog would be nice Lilsweetpea's Place but it's not a have to.

Thanks for joining the fun today!
Hope to see you back tomorrow.
