Cupid's Sting :: Amy Crockett

Hello Peachy friends!!  This is Amy with a fun project using the new Cupid's Sting stamp set.  I just love Valentine's Day and this adorable image is so fun color with my Copic markers.  Isn't his expression fabulous?!?  I added some white gel pen accents to the colored image and a gold colored paint pen to color in the halo as well as some glossy accents to the heart on the arrow.  I then cut it out with my Large Circle Nestabilities set.

I also embossed the edges with my Nestabilites in my Cuttlebug and then added some blue ink with my ink blending tool and two shades of blue.  I used the lighter one first and moved in closer to the image and then with the darker color, I just stayed closer to the outside making sure to blend it all together again with the lighter color.
I finished it all up with some ribbon, bakers twine, a button, glitter, a doily, and some pen stitching.  I hope that this has inspired you to get some stamping done for cards to send to loved ones this Valentine's Day!!

Hugs,
Amy

Sweet Heart Decorating :: Glorajean Beardall

Hello sweet Peachy Keen fans. This is Glora from Glora's Crafts and today I have a fun Valentine's Day decor item to share with you. These cute little dangling decorations are very simple to make and are about 2 feet long. I made 3 different ones and I'm planning on using them as Valentine's Day decorations.

Are you interested in making some of these? Well here is what I used to make them. First, I cut this heart from the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge at 5". I cut 3 white scalloped hearts and 6 pink hearts so that I could make them double sided. They swirl around a little and I wanted both sides to be equally as cute. For the adorable faces I used some of the beautiful 4" face stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. Yes that is right 4" faces. I'm completely in love with them and my mind has been swimming with all the possibilities. I used the faces called, PKK-03 4" Happy Lash Simple SmilePKK-05 4" Happy Lashes - Open Mouth and PKK-06 4" Happy Lash Mouth Open w/ Tongue Out.

Here is a little closer look at the face with the tongue out:

For the swirl piece all I did was take a spiral shape from the Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge. Here is a picture of what it looks like when it is first cut out:

I cut it at 4 1/2" but you could cut it smaller or larger depending on how long you want yours to be. I punched a hole in the piece at the very center and one at the end of the spiral. Then I put some twine through the holes and tied a knot to make some little loops. The top twine loop so that I can hang my decoration up and the bottom one is to attach the dangling double sided hearts. The weight of the heart on the middle part pulls the spiral down and makes a long whimsical decoration.

I think I will be making some of these for each holiday using these awesome 4" faces. I'm thinking shamrocks, easter eggs, ghosts, snowflakes, the possibilities are endless...

I also want to show you a close up of each heart real quick because I think these faces make the hearts look SO sweet! Just imagine how cute these hearts would look as a 5" shaped card for Valentine's Day.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you were inspired to try something fun and different. Have a super Peachy day! Hugs- Glora

Krafty Penguin :: Nikki Foraker

Hello! Nikki here with a sweet little penguin card. I started by cutting the Winter Character With Stocking Hat die. Onto that I stamped the Penguin Girl. I then stamped the Penguin Girl a few more times onto kraft cardstock and on patterned paper from the awesomePeachy Picks Kit. I then paper pieced this little cutie together.  See, just because the "holiday" season is over doesn't mean you can't still use the adorable stamps that came out during that time...switch up your patterned papers and colors and BAM you've got a sweet Valentine's Day card. :)
Here you can see the sparkle I added to the ice and hat by using my favorite Ice Crystal Glitter Paint. This stuff is AWESOME! It's clear and sparkles just like stardust stickles BUT it's great because you can use a brush and get complete control with it. LOVE THAT! The sentiment is from the Cupid's Sting set.

Have a PeachyKeen day!
♥ Nikki ♥

p.s. No need to adjust your monitors, yes, that is a kraft penguin. My love for kraft knows no bounds. ;)

I {heart} You Monster :: Cristina Garcia

Hello Everyone it's Cristina from Crafting with Cristina!

Today I am sharing with you a super cute valentine's day card that I have created using PK-693 Monster Mash Faces 1 1/8" and PK-296 XOXOXOXO A-2 Background Stamp. I wanted to showcase the versatility of these adorable Peachy Keen Stamps that Kathy has created.

Not only Does the "face" make the project, but using the xoxo background stamp adds alot of interest to the brown cardstock which would otherwise look plain.

Details:

**This project was 100% designed and cut using My Silhouette Cameo and Make the Cut software

**The card base shape and Layers shapes are of my own creation.

**The card is roughly 5x7. i think slightly larger.. but that's okay I will just have to make my own envelope for this one.

The brown paper cardstock is Papertrey ink Dark Chocolate stamped with the XOXO Background stamp using Stampin Up Early Expresso Ink. All of the edges are Inked with Walnut Stain Tim Holtz Distress ink.

The Pattern Paper is from YT24023 Yours Truly 6x6 by Echo Park.

After I cut out my cute little monster with my Cameo I then proceed to ink various parts of the body with different ink colors. I inked the Blue Body with Stampin up Baja Breeze and TIm Holtz Walnut Stain Distress ink, and the horns and hair I inked with Stampin up Pretty in Pink and Tim Hotlz Distress ink.

I then assembled the monster and went doodle overboard like always :) with my White Gelly Roll Pen Medium Point.

I stamped the adorable face, bringing my monster to life using PK-693 Monster Mash Faces 1 1/8" and Paper trey Ink True Black ink. I added the white of the eyes and doodling with my gelly roll pen.

The Rosy cheeks were created using a dry paint brush and Riding Hood Red Stampin Up ink.

I created the Mini Banner using Various SVG/ Font files from Lettering Delights (please see my blog for more specific info).

I finished the project off with some red Swiss Dot grosgrain ribbon that I bought at michael's ages ago, and a black button. I tied some accent bows using Cherry Cobbler baker's twine from Timeless Twine. My personal favorite.

I hope you enjoy this project, and that it inspires you to use your Peachy Keen Stamps in a Fun creative way.

I will also be showcasing two additional Projects over on my blog as well...

here are some sneakie Peakies!

Thanks for reading, and see you again real soon
