Hi Everyone! It is with much excitement & anticipation that I finally get to reveal the guest designers for 2011!! Remember I told you there was NO way we could choose just 14? Well, we didn't. We just couldn't. We chose 46!!! So much talent out there, it was hard narrowing it down to just 46!
Each of these ladies will be blogging right here for one week in the new year! We are so happy to have them on board with us for 2011, and hope you all enjoy seeing something completely different each week! In addition to our amazing full time DT, our guest bloggers will also be providing an inspiration project for our challenges on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Kathy's SURPRISE Blog Hop WINNERS!
Yipee!! We had an amazing number of people send their birthday wishes for my mom through their comments, emails, Facebook postings. We are truly a blessed family! I can't believe how we were able to keep this a secret for so long, but WE DID IT! And boy, was she surprised! She told me she had finished her giant gingerbread peeps that she was painting and went to the computer to upload a few pictures that she will be blogging soon on her blog. She saw something about a "Birthday Blog Hop" in her news feed and thought "Cool, it's my birthday, too!" When she clicked, she finally realized it was for HER and many times throughout the day she told me it was one of her best birthdays EVER! So, thank you everyone for participating!! It was so much fun!

Peachy Keen Stamps and Pink By Design Winners!
Hi Everyone!! Thank you so much for such sweet compliments on my card. And for sharing how long you've known your best girlfriend, it was great to hear how you met them too!!
It was super fun to create these snow-girl friends! :) The snow ladies were created by welding three circles in .25" increments together in the Gypsy. I then welding the three completed snow bodies together so they appear to be "hugging" each other. This could easily be accomplished in Design Studio as well! Since the face assortments come in a variety of sizes, you will find a perfect face no matter what size you cut (under 4").
So I bet you're all wondering who won? I used Random.org to pick two winners - one for the face assortment and one for the PBD stamps!

Girls just wanna have fun ~ PKS and PBD style!
Hello everyone! On this chilly weekend, I hope you all have lots of holiday festivities and activities planned and enjoy the feeling in the air! It's true, I love this time of year, and use it as an opportunity to use up all my beautiful Christmas and Winter Paper.
Today I have an exciting giveaway for you all!! Sarah @ Pink By Design saw our new Happy New Year faces and thought the would pair excellent with her "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" stamp set! Well guess what? They do! Not only do they pair well, but they also got me to break out the Cricut for the first time in awhile!
But I don't get to JUST share a project with you today... I also get to giveaway one set of our Happy New Year Assortments and a "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" set compliments of Sarah! How sweet is that??? Be sure to stop over at her blog to see what she's created for a second chance to win - she's also giving away both sets!
For my card, I decided to wipe the dust of my Cricut and actually put it to good use! I think I've done just that! I absolutely love the search feature on the Gypsy - it lets me browse all cartridges to find the shape I am looking for! That's how I found these wine glasses in "French Manor"! I welded three circles together from Create-a-Critter and then welded my snow-ladies together so they appeared to be hanging on to each other and having a good ol' time! :) The sentiment from "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" reads "Life is too short to drink cheap wine." It's true. Plus it gives you a headache. Double icky. Hehe
As a tip (and a lot of you probably already know this) - Memento Ink smeared on the glitter cardstock I used when I began to ink edges with Distress Ink. Ancient Page "cool black" is what I ended up using for my faces, but I typically like to see them a bit darker. If I could have located my black Staz On in my scrap heap, I mean Craft Room, I would have tried that first.
Cartridges Used: Create-a-Critter (to create snow-ladies), French Manor (wine glasses) and Celebrations (party hats)
Stamps Used: Peachy Keen Stamps Happy New Year Face Assortment, (also used Happy Lashes Face Assortment on two of my snow-ladies) Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Pink By Design)
Other Elements: Fibers (American Crafts), Distress Stickles (Fired Brick) Ice Stickles (Crystal Ice) Pattern Paper (Basic Grey - Eskimo Kisses) Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass - around edges of snow-ladies)

Starting in January 2011, we will have two guest designers each month.
Guest designers will design alongside our awesome full time DT {check 'em out to the left}.
WHAT DOES A GUEST DESIGNER HAVE TO DO?

Each guest designer will be asked to create 5 projects (posted M-F)
for their guest spot.
That's right. Your work will be showcased on our blog for an entire week!Projects must be original and of course, have a Peachy Keen stamp used on them.
