Vivienne Holden :: Sweet Ginger Christmas

Hi everyone, Viv here from Crafting Haven.
I just managed a final Christmas in July card before it ends in the Peachy Keen Store!
(Loads of discounts and offers if you're quick)!!!

Here's my card.....

I die cut my adorable Gingerbread Boy (PKK-02) out of Crumb Cake CS.
Then used the coordinating Gingerbread Boy stamp (PKS-14) to stamp the whole image and then again onto some DKWV Christmas paper for paper piecing his overalls, hat band and bow.
The white areas were coloured with a white gel pen. (Also from Peachy Keen).
The little holly motif in the corner was stamped and coloured with Copics, fussy cut and mounted onto the card with a glue dot the size of a small country!
The card was embossed with a huge Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder EG-1002.
The triple bow was a pure fluke! I was experimenting with  my bow maker and accidentally created the bow and I have no idea how I did it! LOL
Well, I hope you enjoyed Christmas in July as much as I have
(although most of my July was taken up with having a new bathroom fitted and all the muck and mess THAT entailed)! SO worth it though!
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for sneaky peeks at the fabulous August release!!

Happy crafting!

Brianna Loffelbein :: Fond Farewell

Hello Everyone, Brianna here from Happy Scrapper! This is a sad, sad day for me, it's my last post as guest designer for Peachy Keen Stamps :( Just because it's my last day as GD that doesn't mean I will stop creating with Peachy Keen Stamps. I am apart of the SOMK(stamp of the month kit) and I am so giddy because its that time of the month where the Peachy Keen queen Kathy, will be releasing a new set very, very soon squeal!!! I have a couple projects to share with you today as my final farewell.
This sweet little frog is from the PK-207 Fishin' Frog. I colored him using my Spectrum Noirs and added some glossy accents to his eyes. I added some yummy new Key Lime twine by Timeless Twine, sorbet collection.
Isnt' he just a cutie patootie!? My second card I made, I used an older stamp set, mixed with a newer one. I think this one will be for my hubby, for his upcoming birthday. Here is my second card...
EEK, are these not the cutest little salt and pepper shakers you have ever seen!?
For this card I used two different stamp sets, I used PK-116 We Go Together & PKSC-18 June 2013, for the adorable faces. I think this has to be one of the cleanest cards I have made, EVER!! For my salt shaker I used white coarse glitter and for my pepper shaker I just used my Spectrum Noirs and colored a bunch of specks. I just love how this card turned out.
Here are the stamp sets I used for both cards.

I hope everyone has enjoyed my projects for the past month, I sure have enjoyed sharing them with you all!! Remember you can always find me over at my blog Happy Scrapper. I want to give a big shout out to everyone in the Peachy Family for having me and welcoming me as part of the team this past month!!!
Hugs and lots of luv,
Brianna

Amy Crockett :: DeLIGHTful Ornaments!

Hello everyone!!  This is Amy from Scrapping Mommy here to share some fun ornaments that I made with the Christmas Tag Mini's from Peachy Keen Stamps and some wonderful little acrylic shapes and came up with these little beauties......

I started out by stamping the back side of the ornaments with the image and some Stazon Jet Black ink.  I then colored in the images with some acrylic paint and a fine paint brush from the same side they are stamped on.  Here is the front side of this one.....I like that it doesn't show my mistakes as bad on the front as it does on the back.  ;)

After they were completely dry, I mixed some red paint and green paint with Mod Podge and then thinly painted the back of them, in an even layer as possible, so that the main part of the bulb is semi-transparent.  I added some gold and silver paint pen to the tops of the bulb (on the front side) and then tied them up with a little bit of glimmer twine from The Twinery.

So, what do you think??  Are you ready to get a jump start on your tree decorations, too??  I can't wait for Christmas time to get here so that I can see these babies in action!!

Have a great start to the week!!
Hugs,
Amy

Emily Kluender :: Ginger Cuties

Happy Friday!! We are having so much fun celebrating Christmas in July here at Peachy Keen Stamps! The design team has been making so many incredible projects this month. So let's keep the celebration going!

Today, I have a couple of projects to share using the adorable PK-1326 Gingers. I just love them!!
For the gingers, I stamped each one with Versamark Embossing Ink. I used MS black embossing powder and Stampabilities White embossing folder. I colored the hearts in with a Copic Marker and added glossy accents to them. I also created a larger shadow using the svg files and then inked it with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.

I used an E.K. Success 1" scallop punch to create the look of bite marks.

The sentiment was stamped from PK-162 Fruit Sentiments One.

The little heart is a die cut from My Creative Time called Stitched Hearts.

The ribbon came from Michaels and the papers were from JoAnn's.

For my next project, I created a fun little gingerbread house. The gingerbread house cut files comes from SVG Cutting Files and I spruced it up with Peachy Keen stamps.

The cute little gum drops also come with the cut file set and I added the fun faces from PKSC-19 July 2013. I added white gel pen stitching to each one as well as Frosted Lace Stickles on their tops.

The candy canes, sign, and door handle all come from PKSC-19 July 2013 as well.

I added Frosted Lace Stickles to the candy canes, peppermint, and the snow.

I stamped and paper piece the gingers. Outlined each one with a brown colored pencil and added white gel pen accents. The hearts were colored in with a Copic Marker and I chalked their cheeks.

For the roof, I chalked the sides with a color box Frost White cat eye ink. I then added a bit of Frosted Lace Stickles to the end to give the snow like look.

I hope you enjoyed my projects using these adorable Gingers!! They are a must have!!

Happy Stamping and Creating!!

~Emily~

Brianna Loffelbein :: Friends Forever

Hello Everyone, Brianna here from Happy Scrapper. I cant believe that my guest designer term is almost over, how sad! The card I am going to share with you today reminds me of one of my favorite childhood movie, Charlotte's Webb, well that's where I pulled my inspiration from. Here it is..... These sweet little stamp is called PK-M08 Mini Tubby Time. They remind me of the part in the movie where Wilbur gets a buttermilk bath before he goes to the county fair. That's why I used the carnival papers cause I thought it suited my vision perfectly. I colored the image using my Spectrum Noirs and then added some Diamond dust stickles. I hope you all enjoy my card, don't forget I will be back one more time next week to share with you my last creation. Have a great Tuesday everyone!!

Glorajean Beardall :: Baby Buggy Cutie

Hi, this is Glora from Glora's Crafts and today I have a shape card to share with you.

I will be getting a new nephew this week and was excited to make a special card for the occasion.  I made this card using my Silhouette. I love how easy it is to make shape cards with a perfect little shadow using that machine. The svg file is from Lettering Delights and is from the Playful Stringbeans set. The little stitched die that has the sentiment stamped on it, is a die from the Chocolate Greetings set by My Creative Time. The oh so cute face is from the In the Garden Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. The darling sentiment is from the May 2013 Stamp Kit of the Month, also by Peachy Keen Stamps. I added some faux stitching with my Sakura Gelly Roll Pen, you can also pick those up at Peachy Keen Stamps. I finished it off with a few buttons, a little bit of chalk for the cheeks and some Glossy Accents for the eyes.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs- Glora

Nikki Foraker :: Warm Winter Wishes

Aloha, Peachies! ;) I live in Florida, and I made this to send home to Chicagoland when the weather turns cold. Funny to me, perhaps not so much to them freezing in the North. HA! Anyhoo, I started by inking up the Cloudy Day Background with Soft Cantaloupe, Fresh Peach, and Pale Tomato Hero Arts Shadow Inks. I give it a really good smush when I stamp it, and the colors blend great! This works best with a Stamp Press. If you don't have one, you need one. Seriously. ♥ it!
I stamped and paper pieced the palm tree from the June 2013 set. Then I stamped the adorable penguin from the July 2013 set with Charcoal Hero Arts Shadow Ink and paper pieced it too. The greeting is from the Smitten Mittens set. I cut it apart to make it long instead of stacked. :)

I hope you have a Peach-tastical weekend! :)

Nikki

Brianna Loffelbein :: Rock A Hula!

Happy Tuesday everyone, It's Brianna here from Happy Scrapper. I am here today to share with you my second project as guest designer for Peachy Keen Stamps. I love anything bright, fun and cheerful and I hope you will notice that in today's post. Here is the fun card I created!
I wasn't joking when I said bright. Can you believe that all of the images and the rock-a-hula sentiment came from only ONE stamp set!? The aloha stamp was a wooden on I had laying around in my stash. I just love the quantities and quality you get with Peachy Keen Stamps. The stamp set I used for this card is PK-1254 Rock a Hula.
All my papers except the solids came from a digital paper park called Aloha, by Designs by Dani. I added some yellow stickles to my hula girls accessories and my aloha sentiment. I finished it up by adding a couple pink pearls and gold sequences. I colored all of my images using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I hope all enjoyed my bright, fun and cheerful card!? Have a great day and I will see you all next week, same time!!

Janice Wilson :: Sweet Winter Scene

Hi everyone!  Today I have a SWEET card to share with you.  I used PK-1329 Sweet Home from the newest Christmas in July stamp release.  I used bright fun colors to color the house.  I was going for a storybook, candyland type of look.
After coloring the house with copics I cut the image out.  I used an exacto knife to cut the windows and door so that it could open.  I cut some images from a 6x6 paper pad called Countdown to Christmas by Melissa Frances, and placed them behind the windows and the door.  Santa is putting presents under the Christmas tree, behind the door.

To finish my scene I cut Christmas trees from some patterned paper, punched the snowman and snowflakes, punched the orange "tree skirts" and cut the orange path.  The snowy rooftop was made with some puffy paint and glitter.

By combining stamped images with pre-printed images you can create some fun scenes.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Don't forget to check out the Peachy Keen Store for some great bargains.  A new sale starts every Tuesday for the entire month of July!  Get your shop on!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Amber Kroening :: Merry Christmas Sweets!

Hey there, Amber here, from Bella Rose Cards!  I decided to stick with our Christmas in July theme for today's post.  I love the little peppermint candy stamps this month!  I stamped these on white card stock and used a circle die to cut them, and then colored them with copics to match my Echo Park paper.  I drew three lines with a glitter pen to "hang" them, and adhered the candies with foam adhesive.  Below I stamped a duel-color sentiment using stamps from the July set of the month. I tied a bow near the top of the panel and adhered it to my card. Super easy and sweet! ;)

Also, don't forget about the sale that is going on this week!

New sale every Tuesday at 10 pm cdt for the entire month of July! Rock-Bottom prices on already reduced clearance items! Stop by our website for the latest special! You don’t want to miss a single week!

Gigi McKellips :: Holly Jolly Christmas!

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug to share a card with you.
Did you see that Peachy Keen is all about Christmas In July this month? And how CUTE are the new stamps?
Well, I am continuing with the Christmas In July with a fun card to share.

HOW cute is this fun tree?!?!?!

I used Peachy Keen's Santa Tree stamp set for this card. This is such a fun stamp set! I had a ball creating this card...I almost had to turn on my Christmas music! LOL!
I stamped and paper pieced the tree and I used some Copic markers to highlight and shade him. I also stamped the face and colored it in with copics and a white gel pen.
The background of this card is heat embossed using some sparkle embossing powder and I used the larger "HO" stamp.
I stamped the sentiment onto a Tiny Doilies Die and stamped the sentiment onto the snow layer.
To finish I added a line of glitter using a Viva Decor Glitter Pen.

Here is the stamp set that I used to create this fun card!

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for visiting! Have a great day!

Make sure to check out ALL of the sales going on at Peachy Keen the entire month of July!

Brianna Loffelbein :: July Guest Designer

GOOD MORNING!!
We are THRILLED to introduce you to our Guest Designer for the month of July!
Please join us in giving a BIG Peachy Keen Welcome to
Brianna Loffelbein!!

A little about Brianna in her own words...
Hello, my name Is Brianna aka Happy Scrapper. I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a momma to the most precious two year old son. We live in a quite little town, in northern Minnesota, don't-cha know!! When I am not working full time you can find this momma in her craft room. I enjoy all things crafty, sewing, crochet, beading and of course paper-crafts. I started my blog in March of 2012 and have been hooked ever since. I have been crafting for the better part of 10 years now. I have been very fortunate to be apart of many fantastic Design teams and am very thankful for all of the opportunities I have been giving.
I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning when I was asked to be a guest designer for Peachy Keen!! I have been a Peachy fan for quite some time and my love for their products has now grown into an obsession! Thank you so much for this absolutely outstanding honor.

HUGE THANKS to Brianna for joining us this month!
We are all looking forward to each and every creation and hope you will drop by her blog and let her know how much you appreciate her work!!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Hello Everyone, It's Brianna from Happy Scrapper! I am so beyond excited to be guest designer for Peachy Keen stamps for the entire month of July. My excitement reminds me of that one TV commercial where the kids find out they are going to Disney world, and they tell their parents, that they are to excited to sleep. Yes, I did just compare me being a guest designer for Peachy Keen Stamps to Disney world, lol!!
The first card I am going to share with you this month, I made using a couple different stamp sets, here is what I came up with.

 Stamp sets used:
PKSC- 16 April 2013                                                                                 PK-279 Faceless Bugs

I decided to do a shaker card for my first project, I think it turned out pretty cute. The entire time I was working on this card I was humming "I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee". I cut the jar out twice using the svg set for the somk. I used my x-acto knife to cut out the inside of the top jar and added a piece of acetate using my atg gun. This was pretty tuff just for the fact that I had to cut my foam tape really narrow in order for you not to see it and keep all my elements in my jar. The time it took to do it was well worth it, don't you think!? I colored my bee and the jar using my Spectrum Noirs. My papers are from a digital paper pack called "Sweet Girl" by Echo park. I hope you all enjoyed my 1st project and I hope you will be back to see the rest of my creations throughout the month!!
Brianna

Saundra Rega :: Happy Christmas Wishes

Hi There! Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together!
As you may know Peachy Keen Stamps is celebrating Christmas in July! So, I thought it would be fun to create a card using some older Peachy Keen Stamps.

This card was created with PK-327 Winter Peekers & Phrases. I stamped this cute gingerbread boy on some Kraft cardstock and paper pieced his scarf. I used a white gel pen to color in the icing and topped it with some glossy accents.

I thought he would look perfect peeking over PK- 188 Brick Wall that was stamped on some red cardstock. I added some snow to the top and sprinkled it with some glitter before it dried.

The wreath was created with a Martha Stewart Branch Punch. I added a few sequins for decoration.

The background paper was stamped and heat embossed with a snowflake from PK-148 Snow Gifts. to finish the card, I added a sentiment from PK-859 Christmas Greetings Words. I love this set! You can mix and match the phrases to create numerous greetings. A must have, in my opinion!

Before I go I just want to remind you about the month long sale that is going on at Peachy Keen Stamps!
