Holiday Cookie Layout :: Cristina Garcia

Happy Wednesday!

It's Cristina from Crafting with Cristina and today I am sharing a scrapbook page that I recently completed using my Peachy Keen Stamps.

I know summer just started but for some reason I love catching up on my Holiday scrapbooking during the off-season. Usually around holiday time I am so overwhelmed with all of my giant to-do lists and family gatherings, that I can't do much crafting and just pick up a few stacks of paper to use at a later time.

In this layout I am using  PKS-02 Gingerbread Girl  and PKS-14 Gingerbread Boy
All of the pattern paper is from DCWV The Christmas Combo Stack.
Untitled

This is a realtivly simple layout that I used since all of my photos were 4x6. I just layed them side by side across the layout and cut out a 6.25x12 piece of red cardstock to mat them on.

I cut one photo small to focus on the center of the image, and cut a cardstock just 1/4 inch larger. I am sorry but I do not remember the exact dimensions of the smaller photo

I then cut  a 7x12 piece of Script Pattern Cardstock and Inked the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Ink and adhered it to the center of my 12x12 Kraft Cardstock

I traced a piece of 12x12 scalloped bazzil cardstock onto the back of the Diagonal Striped 12x12 paper, and hand cut it with scissors. I then Inked the edges with my Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Ink, and cut it in half.

The title is by Samantha Walker purchased from the Silhouette online store (here) cut from Green Ivy Pattern Cardstock

Untitled

For my peachy Cuties I had stampted them on a piece of heavy Weight Cream Cardstock and paper pieced them with Kraft Cardstock, and Pattern papers from the DCWV stack. For the whites of the icing, I colored the kraft with my white pentel paint pen, and added stickles for a glittery shine. I then cut them out and mounted them on heart doily.

I finished the layout with some Cherry Cobbler Timeless Twine , white buttons, and some doodling with my white pentel paint pen.

I hope you enjoyed this layout and I've inspired you to put some of your Peachy Keen Stamps in your scrapbooking. Using Stamps rather than die cuts in scrapbooking makes a very quick project.

This layout was completed in 45 mins start to finish.

Have a fanstastic day!

Kitty Notebook Tutorial :: Amy Crockett

Hello and Happy Memorial Day Peachy Friends!!  This is Amy from Scrapping Mommy and I am here to share with you a cute kitty notebook and a tutorial on how I alter spiral bound notebooks.

First thing you need to do is to remove the spiral binding.  You do this by using a pair of round nosed pliers and carefully bend the wire at both ends so that you can twist it off.  Be careful to keep all the papers together so that you don't have to try and get all the holes to line up at the end.  Set the papers and back cover aside.

Next,  you want to measure the front cover.  I usually replace the notebook cover because lately I can only find them in plastic and the papers don't stick too well to them.  I have a huge stack of chipboard that I bought at some clearance center that I use.  Don't toss the front cover, you need it as a template.  I measure the original cover and then use a heavy duty paper trimmer to trim the new front cover to fit exactly.

I then cut out my cute little kitty with my Cricut and the Meow Lite cartridge.  I used the new Here Kitty Kitty Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps to add an adorable face to my kitty.  I then used a pen and chalk to add some details to the face.  The label that I have the kitty on is from Elegant Edges.  I added some pen stitching to it.

I then added some fun patterned paper to the front cover (with the same measurements that I had when I cut the chipboard cover.  I add a little pen stitching around the edges of that as well.

Now take your original cover and use it as a template to make the holes in the left side of the front cover.  I used a pencil to outline all the holes and then punched them out with a good hole punch.

All that is left is to re-assemble the notebook and add a name to the front.  I chose my daughter because she loves notebooks and kitties, so this is the best of both worlds for her.  I can't wait to give it to her.

Here is a close up of that adorable little kitty face......so darn cute!!

Thanks for stopping by!!  Don't forget that there is an amazing sale going on over at the Peachy Keen Stamps website through tomorrow.......hurry over before it ends!!

Hugs,
Amy

Now for today's project....

Hi Everyone !!! It's Michelle from Scrappin with my bug !!!
I've been really trying to catch up on my kids scrapbooks these past few months... I start a new scrapbook every year on their birthday so when they leave home they will have 18 books to take with them LOL !!!

I'm so excited to be up to December of 2011. As I was scrapping, I saw this photo and it reminded me of the current photo challenge which is of a peacock feather, and I knew this would be perfect !!!
I used Peachy Keen Funny Flowers for the big flower with the face on it, and the cute stamped butterfly up on the banner piece!

I also used PK-564 Teamwork for the sentiment.
This is one of my favorite sentiments....it always reminds me of my two little girls named after flowers. In the picture is my daughter Lily and my youngest is Poppy~

Make sure you join us over at the Peachy Keen Challenge blog!!! Today is a brand NEW challenge and we LOVE to see what you make !!!!

Thanks so much !!! If you need any other info on products used you can visit me at
Scrappin with my Bug !!!

Tiki Time :: Melissa Haas

Hello Peachy Friends! I just finished decorating a frame
I just love the fun mix of stamps in this set. It was just
my luck that the flower stamp fit right in the center
of my frame.  The paper lanterns are stamped on
origami paper. The tiki torches are in this set too,
along with the eyes that I added on my three tiki totems.

The tiki torches have fiber on them to make them look "fiery".
The banner on the drink is from
PK-105 Happy Hour.
And my little lime's face is from PK-112 Cherub Faces.

I hope you enjoyed my project today.  Enjoy your week!

Just Grillin' :: Saundra Rega

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog!

Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together.

With Memorial Day just a week away, I thought it would be fun to show you how you can use your Peachy Keen Stamps to create a fun invitation.

I created a pocket envelope and a postcard with a pull tab. The May Peachy Pick's collection is the perfect color pallet for this invitation.

Some of the elements on my invitation were computer generated but several Peachy Keen Stamps used to embellish. Our little chef comes from PK-114 Hot Diggity Dog. I colored him with my Copics.

For the invitation itself, I used PK-114 Hot Diggity Dog  for the hamburger, PK-116 We go together for "Bon Appetit", PKSC-05 for "Just Grillin'," and PK-117 Picnic Tablecloth Background.

I hope I've given you a fun way to create an invitation.

Happy Crafting, Peachies!!

Sweet Kitty Layout + Thank You Card :: Heidi Anne Giebel

Hello all my Peachy Friends,
For this Friday post I have a couple of special treats for you. First off, I created a layout using PK-110 Here Kitty Kitty Face Assortment! This set is one of my new favorites! I just absolutely adore how the little whiskers are separate! It gives the set such a personal touch because no two kitty faces are exactly the same!! LOVE!!

My second creation are some Thank you cards that I made for my nephew, Colin, to give for the gifts he received at his First Holy Communion. For these cards I used PK-642 Boy Mates Face Assortment. I also put the little boy onto an Action Wobble! Those little wobbles really make the card come alive!! The sentiment came from the PKSC-04 April 2012 Stamp of the Month Club Kit.

That's my nephew in the frame behind the card...I'm just a proud Auntie!!

Thanks for stopping by the Peachy Keen Stamps blog!!
Love, Heidi

Happy Mother's Day :: Nikki Foraker

Hello! Happy Friday to you! It's Nikki here with a card today I made using 3 different stamp sets. Firstly, I Stamped the watering can with flowers stamp from the Happy Flowers and Cheerful Phrases set a few times on patterned paper and kraft so I could do some paper piecing. The papers I used are from the Hello Summer collection by Echo Park. I stamped the greeting from the Happy Mother's Day set onto the watering can and white heat embossed it.
The adorable faces on the flowers are from the brand new May 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month set.

I hope you have a fabulous peachy weekend!

Nikki
