Peachy Keen Guest Designer: Week 11, Day 5

Hi Peachy friends and Happy Friday!  Stephanie here for my last day as a Peachy Keen Stamps guest designer.  I am really sad to see this week come to an end, but I truly had such a fun time!  I'm also a bit upset at the crazy weather... we had beautiful warm weather here for the last few days, but the temperature dropped about 40 degrees and it was only in the 30s yesterday!

My project today is definitely a good distraction from the cold weather!
(Hubby's face is covered for his privacy.)
My hubby and I went to Mexico for our anniversary this past October. I would say it is quite an accomplishment for me to get a scrapbook page made just 5 months later.  I haven't even started on our wedding album and it's been a year and a half ago!

I got a little creative with the crab's face.  I used eyes from the Critter Faces set and a mouth from the Everyday Character set.
I used a VersaMark pen on the edges of the water and embossed it white embossing powder to make it look more realistic.
I also used a sponge dauber with some white ink to make some light clouds in the sky.

The sun's face is actually from the Critter Faces set.  Isn't it awesome that you can use this set on anything... not just animals!?!

Materials used:
Stamps - PK-754 Critter Faces set (Medium), PK-490 Everyday Character Face Assortment, Bit of Burlap background stamp from Market Street Stamps (on the tree)
Ink - Black VersaFine, Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip, Papertrey Ink Fresh Snow
Paper - Bazzill Lakeshore, Ocean Breeze, Kraft, Marmalade Blast, Sunbeam, Carob Cream, Cream White; Papertrey Ink New Leaf; DCWV Robin
Cricut Cartridges - Life's a Beach, Create-a-Critter, Alphalicious
VersaMark pen & Ranger Sea Foam White embossing powder
Flower Soft (sand)
White & blue gel pens

Wouldn't you love to win a set of Peachy Keen Stamps for yourself!?!  Just leave a comment over on my blog to be entered to win!
PK-754 - Critter Faces Set A (Medium)

I will be drawing the winner tomorrow (Saturday), so make sure you get your comment in before 12 noon CST, and come back to my blog tomorrow to see if you are a winner!

I want to say thank you so so so much to Peachy Keen Stamps for letting me a guest designer!  It was an awesome experience and I really appreciate it!

I hope you've enjoyed my projects!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Peachy Keen Guest Designer: Week 11, Day 3

Good morning Peachy friends!  Stephanie here from Stephanie's Paper Creations.  I'm back for another day of Peachy Keen goodness!

Some people that left me some sweet comments said that they don't own any Peachy Keen Stamps yet and some asked which set they should get to start out with.  The two sets I used on today's project are very good, versatile sets that I personally think are great for starting out.  The Everyday Character Face Assortment is a great set with basic faces you can use for almost anything.  The Critter Faces Set is an excellent set especially if you do a lot of animal shapes, like from the Create-a-Critter Cricut Cartridge (my fave!)  I have found that there are also some faces in the Critter set that work well for any faces.... not just animals!  It is actually very versatile!

Okay, on to my card for today..........

I just think this card is so happy and fun!  The Peachy Keen faces really bring so much life to the images!

For the cow, I used the Critter Faces stamp set, but I only used the eyes.  I have the medium set (which I'm also giving away!) and the eyes seemed just a little too close together for the size of the cow, so I just inked and stamped each eye separately to make them proportionate to the face.  It is really easy to do!

For the sun, I used a circle punch and then just cut some freehand pieces for the sun's rays.  For the face, I used the Everyday Character face assortment stamp set.

Materials used:
Ink - Black VersaFine, Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip
Paper - Papertrey Ink Soft Stone, Raspberry Fizz, New Leaf, White, True Black, other colors from scraps, clouds cut from Stampin' Up patterned paper
White & Blue gel pens
Raspberry Fizz ribbon (Papertrey Ink)

Don't forget to go over to MY BLOG and leave a comment to be entered to win this amazing set from Peachy Keen Stamps!
PK-754 - Critter Faces Set A (Medium)

Thanks so much for joining me again today!!  Have a moo-velous day!!  :-)

Peachy Keen Guest Designer: Week 11, Day 2

Hey there!!  Stephanie here from Stephanie's Paper Creations.  Welcome to day 2 of my week as a Peachy Keen Stamps guest designer!

Today is Challenge Tuesday at the PKS Challenge Blog.  The challenge is to create a card or layout using this sketch:
image.png

Here is what I came up with:

Isn't that little bunny just so adorable!?!
I wanted to distress the circle, so I stamped another bunny and cut it out to use it as a mask while I inked the circle.

I loved making this card because it makes me so happy that Spring is finally here!  I love Easter time..... it's the only time of the year that I can have one of my favorite foods.... Cadbury Eggs!!

Materials used:
Stamps - PK-264 Easter Egg Words and Bunnies, Hero Arts Cling Dots background
Ink - Black Memento ink, Papertrey Ink Fresh Snow, Pumice Stone Distress Ink
Cardstock - Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores & Aqua Mist; Neenah Solar White; WhirlyBird - Shine from Abbey Road by My Mind's Eye (I used both sides), Vellum
Dies - Papertrey Ink Eyelet Lace Border & Flower Fusion #1
Papertrey Ink felt in Ocean Tides
Button & embroidery floss
Sakura Stardust pen
Copic Marker (RV10)

Peachy Keen Guest Designer: Week 11, Day 1

Happy Monday everyone!  Stephanie here from Stephanie's Paper Creations.  I am so excited to be a guest designer this week for Peachy Keen Stamps!!!

For my first Peachy Keen project, I made a baby shower card for my cousin.  They chose a monkey theme for their nursery, so I used her registry for my inspiration.  Here are some of the items she registered for:
And here is my card:

Materials used:
Cardstock - Papertrey Ink Kraft, White, New Leaf, and True Black; Bazzill Pear Crush and Carob Cream; pink and yellow from my stash
Cricut cartridges - Create-a-Critter, Alphalicious
Ink - black VersaFine, Antique Linen & Walnut Stain Distress Inks
Martha Stewart Baker's Twine
Stickles, white and blue gel pens

I also mixed Perfect Pearls with water and sprayed that over the white label for a shimmery look (it's hard to see in the picture though).

Now for the fun stuff... a giveaway!!!  I am giving away a Peachy Keen Stamps set, courtesy of Peachy Keen Stamps!
