I love the sneaks and I adore scarecrows so I am going to have to get these stamps!!

Our fall colors depend on the weather that we have at the end of summer. Too dry and the leaves come down without turning. Too wet and cold and the leaves stay brownish. Usually though we have beautiful reds, yellows and oranges and I love it!

I haven't lived in this "neck of the woods" long, so I thought I would tell you about where I moved here from, The fall is the most beautiful time of the year, it finally cools down and the breezes are cool and refreshing, and the foliage on the trees begin to turn many colors from pale yekllko9ws to vibrant oranges and browns. The nights are cool and the high school football season is gearing up. There are the thunderstorms to keep you on your toes. And don't forget all the fall parties for the kids. Fall is my favorite time of year in Oklahoma!

genagirl said...

Fall here in Missouri is a week between HOT and COLD. The oak trees turn red and the leaves fall so that you have a huge pile and they smell like Heaven! I can't think of anything better than kicking leaves with every step I take unless it's watching them skitter across the road, riding on a breeze!

I have a very lovely Fall season. I live in N.California and I live right in the middle. We can drive up to the higher elevation, and be there in 45 minutes and have the most beautiful fall colors any one could ask for. If we go the other direction for about 2 hrs, we can be on the California Coast. In the fall it's beautiful at the beaches. It is actually warmer at the beaches in the fall than in the summer. Here in California we are blessed by all kinds of beautiful weather almost year long.

Here in Southern Pennsylvania, the weather is a little crazy this year so far with lots of flooding from the storms this week. Normally Fall is gorgeous with so many trees in our area turning colors. We live in an area with a $1,000,000 view of those gorgeous leaves. But with all this rain, it would be GREAT to win one of the Peachy Keen stamp sets since I'm spending so much time in the stamp room with is weather.

We don't have too many trees around us that change colour or loose their leaves for Autumn. A neighbour used to & that tree's leaves always seem to make it to my doorway even though I live 2 houses away, so it was crunch crunch as you walked to the door. We have just started SPRING here in Australia so I have to wait another 6mths to experience Autumn...aka "Fall"
Look forward to see the new little faces they look like going to be cute (as usual)
