A little about me and why I created the following project: I truly embrace Diversity. I come from and am part of a very diverse family; we often say that we are the United Nations. :)
As I was pondering what to create for my week as a guest designer for Peachy Keen Stamps, one day I took a second look at a “wall hanging decoration/quilt with the Earth and kids from around the world” I have in one of my offices and it hit me!
(For the past two years I have been taking care of two High Schools as a Teacher Librarian due to budget cuts and was hoping it would go away, but NO such luck, so I better get decorating my other office I thought…). That’s when I decided to make this project and this week a themed week and the theme is Diversity! …not just cultural, but in a crafting/PKS sense too! (Hint on projects to come).
I created this “Home Décor” frame to hang on the wall of what seems to be my permanent second office.

It really looks much better in person. My camera captures much more than the naked eye can see. The lines you see on the top right hand corner at not visible in person.
Here a close up of their faces. I did pretest the Memento ink. I colored the cheeks with Memento Angel Pink ink and a very small dabber and used acrylic paints with a toothpick to paint in the white and red on their eyes and tongue.
I did not ink as much as I am used to afraid of my ink running, but now I can see that it will work!
I am super happy with the result! Can't wait to hang it on my office's wall!
