Guest Designer - Week 27, Day 1

Happy Monday!  My name is Lauren from Lauren's Creative and I am so happy to be this week's Peachy Keen Guest Designer!  I started paper crafting after receiving my Cricut in November of 2009.  I quickly became obsessed and in April of 2010 I started scrapbooking.  I love making cards, but I especially love working on scrapbook layouts.  This week I will be sharing five brand new layouts featuring lots of "peachy" inspiration.  I designed a layout for each season (plus a birthday themed project), so today I am starting out with a spring-y project!

I have a 3 year old little girl, so most of my layouts are pretty girly, but this one could easily be switched around for a little boy.  You are my Sunshine is my daughter's favorite lullaby, so when I came across this title, I decided it would be perfect for a scrapbook page title.  

By the end of the week you will realize two things about me...I adore kraft cardstock and am completely addicted to my white gel pen.  I can't stop...it's kind of a problem. 

This little cutie is from the Cricut Lite Twinkle Toes cartridge.  I used a 1 1/8" Princess Face stamp for her face.  The little girls on Twinkle Toes have wider faces and the Princess Face Stamps fit perfectly!  The Princess faces were the very first Peachy Keen Stamps that I purchased, and I still use them all the time.     

To create a bit more interest on the page, I chose to pop-up the rain drops with little faces using pop-dots.

Peachy Keen Guest Design Week 15:Day 5

Happy as Peach...that's what I am today! It's my last day as Peachy Keen Guest Designer, and it has been a wonderful week! I have enjoyed it and look forward to seeing what all the other amazing PK Guest Designers have for us. I have to say that Peachy Keen was awesome to allow so many people to have a turn at being a PK designer! They are truly a wonderful US based family business---it doesn't get any better than that!
My last post today for you is a very quick and easy project that will delight your family as you sit down to movie or story night! Yes we do this for story time as we don't watch much tv!
I used the super cute Happy Lash faces (pk460) & Pumpkin Faces(pk550).
