Peachy Keen Stamps {Guest Designer}: Gingerbread Girl

As I mentioned on Monday I had fun cruising the "Supplies" section of the PKS store and when I saw all of the chipboard and acrylic goodies there I was amazed. At first glance, many of them seem to be focused around a winter theme, but I wanted to stretch myself to do something different with them.

Does that look like how you would picture a gingerbread girl?

When I saw the gingerbread shapes I locked on to that fun hairdo and couldn't get past the fact that it would make a really adorable little girl. When I got my order in the mail I was surprised at the beautiful cuts of chipboard. The edges are so neat and clean and the chipboard is a very nice thickness.

I created the dress just by using the chipboard shape as a pattern and topped it off with some twine and a cute little face from the PKS Funshine Face Parts.

My kids are always making themselves paper people to play with and they instantly hovered around me as I worked on this girl, just waiting until I would hand her over to them. She is now theirs to play with and they love her! With the great quality of the chipboard I think she will stand up to their play and look good for a long time.

Would you like to win a little something to play with from Peachy Keen Stamps?

Peachy Keen Stamps is allowing me to give away a $25 gift certificate this week...and YOU just might win it!
