Guest Designer Week 26 with Scrapping Mommy Day 1

Hello everyone!!  My name is Amy and I am so excited to be sharing some fun projects with you this week on the Peachy Keen blog.  I am a stay at home mommy to my three kiddos that constantly keep me on my toes, but my way to unwind at the end of the day is to scrapbook and make cards.  I have been crafting all my life and I started scrapbooking about 8 years ago when I was expecting my first child.  I then discovered the world of card making about 5 years ago and I just can't stop creating cards......I just love it when they bring a smile to someones face.  I share most of my creations on my blog Scrapping Mommy and some of you may know me from the Cricut message board as mommy2darlings.  I love to play with my Cricut and when I pair it up with my Peachy Keen stamps, beautiful projects happen.  I  love the way that the Peachy Keen faces bring the die cut image to life.  I hope that you will join me this week as I share my projects and leave comments along the way to win some yummy Peachy Keen stamps.

Today I am going to share a card with you that I made with my Cricut and Create A Critter cartridge along with the Critters Faces Medium Set (cow) and  the Cutie Pie Face Assortment (sun).  I live in a very rural area and there is a dairy farm next door, so here is a card to bring a little of where I live to you:

Here are the cuts I used:
Create A Critter cartridge:
 -cow cut at 3 inches
 -barn cut at 1.25 inches
 -tree cut at 1.5 inches
 -sun cut at 1.5 inches
 -clouds cut at 1.25 and 1.5 inches

My World cartridge:
 -fence - four welded together and cut at 1 inch.

I added some embossing, ink and white gel pen to most of the cuts.  I also added some glossy accents to the sun.

I finished off the card with some hemp twine, a button, and a sticker sentiment from SRM Stickers.
